Since March, we have been working around the clock to find solutions for our couples whose wedding plans have been impacted by Covid-19. It has been a huge challenge for everyone, at a time of great worry and uncertainty. The ever-changing rules and guidance have made life particularly difficult for weddings which require so much planning and are such an important life event.

Options for weddings impacted by Covid-19:
We have set out the options we have made available below.
We reserve the right to review and amend these options at any time.
In response to the Prime Minister’s statement on 22nd September that weddings are limited to 15 people and that we should assume some restrictions will remain in place for 6 months, we are making these options available to all couples with a wedding booking before the end of March 2021. If the restrictions should change again, we reserve the right to change the options available to you.
In order to manage our bookings and postponements fairly, we will aim to contact couples in date order. Please note that our support team are currently available from 8 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday.
Continue with your wedding
Say ‘I do’, raise a glass, enjoy the venue
Ceremonies and receptions are currently allowed to take place with up to 15 people in attendance. We have made every effort to ensure that our venue is Covid-safe and follows the government guidelines, so that you can enjoy an intimate and unforgettable day with us and celebrate with your nearest and dearest.
If you want your wedding to go ahead, we can offer you a choice of two food and drink packages to enjoy after your ceremony. The first is a choice of reception drinks and delicious canapés. The second, a three-course meal with accompanying drinks for you and your guests.
The venue is still completely yours to enjoy, so you can make the most of your surroundings and spend quality time with the ones you love.
We will talk you through all your options as well as what you can expect and how social distancing guidelines may affect the flow of your day. We’ve had a number of weddings take place recently with reduced numbers, and you can rest assured we will do everything we can to make sure you have an incredible day.

Get married but postpone your reception
Exchange vows, reschedule the reception
You can choose to have your ceremony on your original date and postpone your reception. This would mean that you can still hold your ceremony with government guidelines in place and a maximum of 15 in attendance, and then postpone your reception to any available date up to 31st December 2023. Your ceremony can take place as planned and you and your guests can stay to capture photographs before heading home. The ceremony will be treated as a separate, new booking and there will be a small venue fee and event management fee applied. Any payments you have already made will be transferred to your future reception date.
Postpone your whole wedding
Save a new date
Postpone your whole wedding and transfer your booking to any available date up to 31st December 2023. There will be no postponement fees for doing so.
We will work with you to explore available dates and find the perfect new wedding date for you, and any venue or catering payments you have already made will be transferred to your new date.
Should your new venue hire fee be lower than your original, the difference will be deducted from your balance. If the new venue hire is more expensive, then the increase will be payable.

We know that this is an uncertain time at the moment and, for many of you, there are plenty of other concerns in your life too. If you need more time to decide on a new wedding date, we can give you the option of taking vouchers for the value of any venue and catering payments already made. You will then have until 31st December 2021 to select your new wedding date on any available date until 31st December 2023.
Once you have decided on your new date, get in touch with us to confirm it and your vouchers will then be applied to the venue and catering fees for that date.
While there is so much confusion and worry, not to mention ever-changing guidelines to follow, we want you to know that our main concern is, and always has been, your happiness. We are here to help and support you while you make these big decisions about your wedding day and will do everything we can to make sure it is right for you.
While we understand that plenty of you will have concerns and questions about your wedding, we are asking for a little patience as we help the many couples who are in your position. We are working through bookings in date order and will make contact with you as soon as we can to discuss the finer details of each of these options. Our team is extremely busy and all working remotely at the moment, which means that our response time is a little longer than usual, but we are doing all we can to speak to you as soon as possible.
If your wedding date falls beyond the end of March 2021, we will contact you if any further updates become available. At this time, we can only plan for your wedding to take place as planned and your agreed terms and conditions therefore apply.
